EID UL FITR 2010
Organized by the Muslims American society of Queens, thousands of people, from different mosques in Astoria, gathered at the Astoria Park to perform the prayer in congregation "Salaat Eid ul Fitr" that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
A number of local politicians and elected officials, joined the organizers and the imams to show of there support for the Muslim communities of New York.
